Child protection Child protection is a major concern to us at PM-Multisports and implementing procedures to deal with this problem is paramount. The children in our care deserve the right to be in a safe environment and in all the activities that we provide safety is our first priority. We have put together a protection policy in order to safeguard against any potential risks. All coaches or helpers are aware and will comply with both:
There are four main types of child abuse: Physical Bullying Young people can also be bullied by anyone; this may be by another young person or a coach. This may be physical, verbal or emotional bullying or a combination of these. The person being bullied may be weaker and possibly younger but the outcome for them will be a very distressing situation. Pm-multisports is continually developing and informing staff of appropriate behaviour in relation to children when dealing with bullying of all forms. All coaches or helpers are trained in child protection procedures and are subject to a CRB check. This will ensure they are clear of any convictions and are suitable to work for us.
